The biggest world conference aimed to training and the HR development was held in Chicago from May 14 to May 19. More than 8500 participants from all around the world and around 300 speakers debated the present and future of HR development.

The biggest trend present in most of the presentations and in the exposition area was Informal Learning, recognized by many as a new vision for training in moment of fast changes and less resources.

Filipe Carrera from ASTD Portugal was one of the speakers, which presented, like in 2007, the influence of the Web 2.0 in Informal Training. His session was completed full, was recorded and repeated in Webinar format on June 8.
